Criccieth is a largely undiscovered seaside gem sandwiched between the remote and beautiful Lleyn Peninsula to the west and Snowdonia to the east.
Criccieth Castle, shops, restaurants, fish and chips, a children’s playground, pitch and put, tennis courts, crown green bowling, buses and the railway station (the Cambrian line between Pwllheli and Birmingham) are all within 5 minutes walk. Porthmadog (8 km), Pwllheli (14 km) and Beddgelert (18 km) and the mountains of Snowdonia are all within easy striking distance.
